Travel Experiences
If you are in the 6th grade or over, you are eligible for some awesome Educational Travel Experiences. Some of the experiences are in Wisconsin and others are in other states.
Check out the list on tinyurl.com/4Htravel to see what Educational Experiences are offered, what they are about, what grades are eligible and how much they cost.
• Scholarships are awarded by the Price County 4-H Adult Leaders to youth who have completed the Portfolio process dependent on the amount of money available.
• Up to 50% of any experience may be awarded to a recipient. Adult Leaders are currently working on determining the maximum amount for each youth for 2025-26 year so youth and their family can choose how they would like those funds allocated (whether all on one experience or divided among multiple experiences)
• Smaller scholarships (Under $250 for Experiences that cost $500 or less) do not require the portfolio process. A form will be shared later to apply for scholarships for those events, activities, and experiences.
There is a packet (Due 1st Monday of January) available that explains how to create a Portfolio to apply for these scholarships and/or the 4-H Key Award (The highest recognition you can receive in 4-H). It does take some time and effort to complete the application process, but if you talk to 4-Hers who have gone on these experiences, they will tell you it is totally worth it!
Still have questions, feel free to contact the Extension office at 715-339-2555 or julie.diepenbrock@wisc.edu

Weather Policy: If the local schools are closed or a Severe Winter Storm Warning in the area is issued, all 4-H activities will be postponed or cancelled.
